Good morning HOST Families,

I hope everyone had a great Independence Day weekend! Today, we have our HOME meet versus the Dahlgren Sharks. Warm-up arrival time for the 1st session (10 and under) is NO LATER THAN 4:45 p.m. Please allow time to get your area set up and your swimmer ready at the meet before warm-ups. If you can walk to the pool please do so to allow room to park for our away team. 1st session warm-ups will run from 5:00-5:15 and the meet will begin at 5:30 p.m. Second session (11 and over) arrival time is NO LATER THAN 6:15pm. 2nd session warm-ups will run from 6:30-6:45 and the meet will resume at 7:00 p.m. 

Please make sure that all of our swimmers know what event numbers they are swimming and where the Clerk of Course is located. Information regarding event numbers for individual swimmers is available via the Swimtopia app and will be posted on deck before the meet. IT IS IMPORTANT TO KEEP UP WITH THE EVENTS THAT ARE BEING CALLED BY THE CLERK OF COURSE DURING THE MEET SO THAT SWIMMERS DO NOT MISS THEIR EVENTS.

The forecasted high temperature today is 95 degrees so it is super important that we are hydrating with lots and lots of water!! During the meet it is best to stay cool in the shade when possible and refrain from running around on the playground/blue top.
