QUALIFYING SWIMS

Swim season is rapidly approaching, with qualifying swims kicking off this weekend, Sat-Mon, 11am-12pm. To qualify for the swim team, your child must be able to make it across the 25 meter pool without assistance, touching the bottom, grabbing the wall, etc. If you're confident they can do it, but they're unable to perform on the spot, worry not - you can work with them and bring them to a practice later on in the season to try out again. Registration remains open all season. If you've already registered other children and need to add a newly qualified swimmer, please contact us - we'll need to give you a code.

SWIMSUITS

In the past, we've had swimsuits available for try-ons during the parents meeting. This year, we've opened up our suit selection to be basically any suit in our team colors, many of which are offered on our team's Swim Outlet site (https://www.swimoutlet.com/collections/HOST?ref=SWIMTOPIA), so we won't have suits for try-ons this year. If you're struggling to figure out sizing, please reach out. We can likely find a family with similarly-sized swimmers to help guide your size selection. 

PARENT MEETING

Our parent meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, May 28th, at 7pm. Please meet us on the pool deck, and we'll share valuable info and walk you through the volunteer stations.

KICK OFF PARTY

Our season opener Kick Off Party will be held on Friday, May 31st. This is a pot-luck event, and the sign-up and RSVP are already open, so please do both!

RSL TRAINING

As always, we need many trained officials to run a meet. Trained positions include Referee, Starter, Head Timer, Clerk of Course, Stroke and Turn Judge, and Head Scorekeeper. We will offer opportunities for newly trained volunteers to shadow these positions.
