Hello Hurricanes! 

Please take the time to read this email entirely as it contains important information for the Finals meet taking place on Sunday, July 27th.

Please note that for this meet, the Coaches are tasked with the sole purpose of seeding swimmers with the intent of scoring the most points and winning the championship title. Because of this, it is possible that your athlete will have fewer events than they are used to, events that they are not very fond of, or no events at all.

However, there are A, B, and C cuts for each age group and event that all score the same amount of points. So, even if your swimmer is not close to the fastest on the team, there is a chance that they may be able to score in the B or C division for some events. Because of this, we ask that you all please sign up if you are able to make the event and allow the coaches to decide who will be swimming. Please also mark yourselves as not attending if you know that you will not be able to come to this meet.

The meet will take place at the Jeff Rouse Center from approximately 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. This is an all-day event, but it is thankfully split into three sections to keep many of you from spending a full day at the pool. The sections are as follows:

• 10 & Under: Morning Session
• All Ages - IM, 100 Freestyle, Graduated Relay, Medley Relay: Late Morning Session
• 11 & Older: Afternoon Session

The buffer times allow for warm-up sections and a slower meet than expected.

Please register your children by TOMORROW, 07/19 at 9:00 AM for this meet. I will not be able to add late entries if you forget to register your kids.
