Hello Host Families, 

I hope everyone is well, I am reaching out today to inform everyone that there was an in-water rescue today at practice, everyone is okay. The reason I want everyone to know this is because it is imperative that parents and children feel that this is a safe environment to swim in. Neither I nor any of the coaches will let anything happen to a Hurricane. The swimmer in distress was spotted quickly, and rescued within the same minute. 

For me, this team is like a family, and I love all of my swimmers (even if you might not be the biggest fan of me making you swim!). Please know that swimmer safety and fun is paramount to each of our coaches. 

Thank you for reading this important update, the rest of the email will be practice information for the rest of the week as we are wrapping up our season. 

For the remainder of this week there will be no stroke clinic. Meaning that practice will run from 7-8, 8-9, and 9-9:45 for each age group respectively. Additionally there is NOT a meet practice tomorrow Wednesday July 23rd. Instead, our meet practice will be on Friday July 25th.
