We are holding our LAP-A-PALOOZA on Thursday, June 25th, from 8:00 am until 10:00 am. Please come and join us in this super fun, family-friendly event. It is a great day to enjoy refreshments and have fun cheering on our swimmers while raising funds for the swim team. We have great prizes for swimmers who raise the most money and swim the most laps. Bring your sponsor sheet to the event so the board can verify and write your official lap count!

• Free Vitamin B-12 shots for some adult volunteers from The DRIPBaR Stafford!

The Lap-A-Palooza is our largest fundraiser and allows HOST to continue awarding two scholarships annually to college-bound seniors and purchase capital equipment items (such as our lane lines). More information and nomination forms will be coming on the scholarship process.

We are asking each swimmer to sign up and participate in our LAP-A-PALOOZA by seeking pledges for each lap you swim or with a flat donation from friends and family. We would love parent participation as well. You can help count laps, cheer on your swimmer, and participate in the Parent / Coach vs Swimmer Relay Race. Yes, that’s right… you can compete against your kids!

Cash fundraising items will also be raffled off during the event. $1 per raffle ticket or $5 for 6 tickets for these items. We will have 2 K1 Racing gift cards, 1 round of Monster Mini Golf, $20 Fatty's Winghouse gift card, and a free IV therapy from the DRIPBaR here in Stafford.

Please join us for IMPORTANT HOST Season information. All parents are STRONGLY encouraged to attend. We will meet on the pool deck.

To join the Hampton Oaks Swim Team, your child must be able to swim one length of the pool (any stroke) without assistance or stopping.

• New swimmers to the team (regardless of age or swim ability) must attend a "team qualifier" to demonstrate their ability to swim one full length of the pool. These qualifiers will be held at the Hampton Oaks Pool on Saturday, May 23rd, Sunday, May 24th, and Monday, May 25th, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Please attend one of these times or contact [email protected] if you cannot attend.

Your swimmer may attempt their qualifying swim as many times as they would like.  They can return all weekend.  You may be in the water with your swimmer for encouragement, but you may not physically assist them in any way.
